D10.2 POPD – Requirement No. 2 - ABSTRACT
This deliverable aims to describe how the protection of personal data collected during the project will be ensured and what measures will be taken. More specifically, this deliverable gives an overview of the type of personal data that will be collected and how this data will be processed to ensure that it is managed in a confidential way according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the corresponding national regulations of the countries in which the personal data will be processed.
It also includes a description of the technical and organisational measures that will be implemented to safeguard the rights and freedoms of the data subjects, what anonymization techniques will be used, participant consent procedures that will be used and an evaluation on
the risks related to the data processing activities of the project. In the annexes, it is possible to find all the informed consents that will be needed along the project implementation.
This document also describes the main regulations at a European and national level, that will be followed, gives details of the role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and identifies who the DPO of the institutions that will collect personal data is.
Finally, this document includes a risk assessment report done by an outsourced law firm that includes an analysis of the personal data that will be collected and a conclusion of the need of implementing an impact assessment.
