D8.3 Report on Standardization landscape and applicable standards - FULL PAPER
This deliverable D8.3 “Report on Standardization landscape and applicable standards” (M6) is the first deliverable for task T8.3 “Standardization activities” inside WP8 “Exploitation, Standardization, Dissemination and Communication”.
The main objective of this task is to facilitate the acceptance and utilization by the market of the developed solutions. Other objectives are to provide starting information for other WPs, ensure compatibility and interoperability with what already exists in the market through
standards, as well as to use the standardization system as a tool for dissemination of the project results and interaction with the market stakeholders. The standardization activities planned in this task to fulfil the above objectives will be considered under two specific
activities, which are mutually linked: the identification and analysis of related existing standards and the contribution to the ongoing and future standardization developments from the results of the project. The participation of a Standardization Body, representing CEN and
CENELEC, provides the relevance, knowledge and experience in the standardization system and its internal procedures.
This first delivery provides, analysis of the available and applicable standardization landscape, starting from needs of other WPs about existing standards that can be related, as well as the related Standardization Committees and organizations involved, in order to ensure compatibility and interoperability of SHAREWORK and facilitate the acceptance and utilization by the market of the developed solutions.
The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, (previous called AENOR), as National Standardization Body (NSB), member of CEN-CENELEC has been subcontracted by SHAREWORK (EURECAT – the coordinator) to provide support regarding the standardization tasks included in the project (WP8 - Exploitation, Standardization, Dissemination and Communication).
