Sharework project partner National Research Council of Italy (CNR) has organised the 7th Italian Workshop on Planning and Scheduling (IPS), which has taken place on November 19 in Rende, Italy. Alessandro Umbrico (CNR-ISTC) was one of the organizers.
Project partners from CNR participated in the Session II: Planning Strategies & Heuristics and presented their contributions to the Sharework project. Specifically, the contribution was presented in the paper entitled “Extending a planning framework with dynamically controllable strategies” co-authored by Annarita Lanzilli, Marta Cialdea Mayer, Amedeo Cesta, Andrea Orlandini and Alessandro Umbrico.
The event was attended by researchers interested in different aspects of planning and scheduling problems. IPS Workshop aims to introduce new researchers to the community and to attract an international gathering, thus expecting contributions and participations from around the world. CNR is the largest national public research organization distributed in a network of more than 100 institutes and it has expertise in production systems for applications such as factory automation and robotics, mechatronics and industrial robotics.
