Partners from the Machining Centers Manufacturing (MCM) have disseminated the Sharework project at the BI-MU Milano exhibition, which ran on October 12th-15th, 2022.
During the event, MCM has given a presentation about the Sharework project, and attendees learnt about project’s objectives, methodologies and the redesign done in CEMBRE’s shop floor as a use-case of the project, which has been developed in collaboration with the partners CEMBRE (MCM customer) and CNR (National Research Council of Italy) with its institutes STIIMA and ISTC. During the event, a video of the CEMBRE shopfloor simulation model was displayed and commented.
Moreover, they also distributed Sharework brochures to visitors approaching their booth, that were mainly Italian and European MCM customers, providing information about the project and replying to their answers.
BI-MU is an international biennial trade fait event dedicated to the industry of metal cutting, metal forming and additive machine tools, robots, digital manufacturing and automation systems, enabling technologies and subcontracting.
This year’s edition has been their 33rd and it has showcased international products of the sector, expression of almost 700 exhibiting companies, of which 37% from outside Italy, occupying a total surface area of 65.000 square metres in four halls.
