Tiffany Morisseau, Research Manager at Strane Innovation, has participated last week to the 20th SOMICS Synergy Meeting at the Central European University in Vienna, a series of workshops on social learning, innovation and cultural transmission.
Morisseau mentioned the Sharework project as an example of technological innovation in an industrial context, and discussed with attendees the cognitive mechanisms underlying cultural transmission within a community, a topic that can be directly applied to the Sharework project and its activities related to the introduction of an innovation within four use-cases.
The workshop was open to the Cognitive Science department of the Central European University (located in Budapest and in Vienna), and the team of comparative psychologist Josep Call, from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
