Sharework partner Néstor Garcia, responsible of the Collaborative Robotics Research line of Eurecat, has presented the project during the workshop “Shared workspace between humans and robots”. The workshop took place during the 9th International Conference on Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems online edition celebrated on July 28-30.
This workshop, organized by Hr-Recycler project, was aimed to present novel technological approaches that facilitate the collaboration between robots and humans towards solving challenging tasks in a shared working space. The session included technical presentations, covering topics such as smart mechatronics, computer vision in robot-assisted tasks, safety in the workspace and human-robot collaboration.
The project was presented at the session “Manufacturing environment tracking for an effective human-robot interaction”, in which Néstor Garcia gave a general overview about the project and its main advances and explained the different Sharework’s use case scenarios.
The workshop, also counted with a presentation of three European projects related to human-robot collaboration and funded by the European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA): Rossini, Hr-Recycler and Collaborate.
