Aquib Rashid, project partner from Fraunhofer IWU, has presented a scientific paper based on Sharework investigation on the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2022), which ran from May 23rd-27th in the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia (United States).
The paper, entitled “Intrusion Distance and Reaction Time Estimation for Safe and Efficient Industrial Robots”, is also contributed by partners Ibrahim Al Naser, Shuxiao Hou, Mohamad Bdiwi, Matthias Putz and Steffen Ihlenfeldt. It proposes a novel method for estimating the safety parameters in speed and separation monitoring mode for 3D vision sensors.
ICRA is the flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, bringing together the world’s top researchers and most important companies to share ideas and advances in our field. The event included plenary sessions, contributed paper sessions, workshops and tutorial sessions, forums, videos, exhibitions, and robot competitions.
