Andrea Orlandini, researcher at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the National Research Council of Italy (ISTC-CNR), has disseminated the Sharework project at the Maker Faire Rome conference, which has been celebrated in Rome on October 7th-9th, 2022.
In a presentation named “Advanced Manufacturing and Human-Robot Collaboration”, Orlandini presented the project to the audience and talked about the implementation of a new manufacturing shop floor at the Cembre’s factory, located in Brescia and one of Sharework’s project demonstrators, by introducing collaborative robotics technologies to improve working conditions and increase productivity.
The Maker Faire Rome conference, which has celebrated its 10th edition this year, facilitates and talks about technological innovation by connecting people and ideas. It aims to spread the culture of Open Innovation by allowing the production system to resort to ideas, solutions, tools and technological skills.
